Mars Territory

Mars Territory™ LLC was founded to create Mars ownership experiences and to generate income for Mars and space development through sales of a combination of virtual and real Mars property rights

Initial virtual property rights includes the ability to add your text to the title and description of a placemark on your Mars property, and to place an image of your choosing over the existing Mars imagery. Soon, you will also be able to put 3D geometry on your property, as well.

Initial real property rights are in the form of a quitclaim deed from Mars Territory™ LLC. To make these quitclaim deeds valuable, Mars Territory ™ LLC contributes to organizations, such as the Mars Society and the National Space Society, that aim to explore, develop, and settle Mars and other extraterrestrial properties.

Mars Territory will work to increase the value of both sets of property rights by:

developing new virtual capabilities like those in Second Life, Club Penguin, Civilization Online, or The Sims Online and

contributing 10% of revenue or 80% of profit, whichever is more, to organizations and projects developing Mars and space.

if Mars Territory™ LLC makes enough money, the company will send its own missions to Mars to explore and claim land.
